Furthermore, the candidate will be committed to actively engage in the research activities of the institute as well as in research activities of interdisciplinary centers the institute is involved in, e.g., the European Center for Linguistics (EZS), the Heidelberg Center for Cultural Heritage (HCCH), the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR), and research activities in the excellence initiative of Heidelberg University. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Prerequisite for the selection by the appointment committee are a distinguished record of internationally renowned research and successful third-party funding.
