between biology and data mining. As genomic sequencing generation, electronic medical record utilization, and other large-scale data has increased exponentially in recent years, the biomedical informatics fields are undergoing an important stage with new breakthroughs
on dealing with dramatically increased information in terms of size and complexity. and healthcare data. The broader context of the workshop comprehends artificial intelligence, information retrieval, machine learning, and natural language processing. Submissions are invited to address the need for developing novel methods to mine, summarize
