<p><br /> Registration is open for the third edition of the international conference<br /> <br /> "Technologies for Translation - Collaboration, sharing, participation: translation and free software in the Web 2.0 era"<br /> <br /> which will be held in Forlì (Italy) on 24th and 25th January 2014.<br /> <br /> Registration with the reduced early-bird fee will remain available until Friday 10th January 2014.<br /> <br /> For further details on the conference programme and the registration procedure, please check the official conference website: http://tetra.sslmit.unibo.it .<br /> <br /> <br /> Basic information<br /> <br /> The third edition of the TeTra (Technologies for Translation) international conference aims to act as a forum for reflection, discussion and to further our understanding of the issues revolving around the success of free software and collaborative translation.<br /> <br /> The main day of the conference (Friday 24th January) will include a number of talks given by international speakers and round tables to encourage discussion with the audience. In addition to the main conference sessions, in the mornings of Friday 24th and Saturday 25th January, the programme will include focussed practical workshops (delivered in Italian), which will address a range of relevant topics. The event is organised by the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna (Forlì Campus) in collaboration with AITI, AssoInterpreti, TradInfo and Unilingue, and is aimed at in-house and freelance translators, managers of translation companies, localisers, technical writers, project managers, linguists, translation lecturers, researchers, trainers and students.<br /> <br /> The working languages of the main conference sessions will be Italian and English.
