<p class="MsoPlainText">The Research Group in Computational Linguistics (<a href="http://clg.wlv.ac.uk">http://clg.wlv.ac.uk</a>) of the University of Wolverhampton invites applications for a 3-year University of Wolverhampton PhD studentship in the area of
multiword units. More specifically, the proposed topic of the PhD research will be Natural Language Processing (NLP) methodology to extraction and translation of multiword units which has applications in a number of areas including but not limited to terminology,
language learning and translation. This is a funded bursary which will consist of a stipend towards living expenses (£14,000 per year) and remission of fees.

<p class="MsoPlainText">The application deadline is 2 March 2014. The short-listed candidates will be notified by email by 3 March and interviewed via Skype on 5 March. The starting date of the PhD position is 15 March 2014 or any time as soon as possible after

<p class="MsoPlainText">• Experience in Computational Linguistics / Natural Language Processing, particularly the area of Machine Learning applications to Natural Language Processing.<o:p></o:p></p>
