<div><br></div><div>Building on the semantic textual similarity (STS) task from SEMEVAL 2012 and 2013 *SEM Shared Task, this year's STS brings a multilingual flair, as we announce the SEMEVAL Task 10: Multilingual Semantic Textual Similarity. This task features separate tracks for English and Spanish, yet teams are encouraged to participate in both evaluations. STS-EN 2014 is an expanded version of the 2013 task with more varied data sets. STS-ES 2014 follows the same setup as its sister subtask, yet it introduces a new layer of difficulty as we shift focus to Spanish and explore the challenges posed by the lower availability of electronic resources in this language (when compared to English).</div>
<div><br></div><div>Please check out the task's webpage at <a href="http://alt.qcri.org/semeval2014/task10/">http://alt.qcri.org/semeval2014/task10/</a> for more details.</div><div><br></div><div>Important dates to note</div>
