    - Discourse and Language Corpora
    - ESP and Language Corpora
    - Corpus Search and Retrieval Systems
    - FLA/SLA and Language Corpora
    - Learner Corpora
    - Multimodal Corpora
    - Lexicography and Language Corpora
    - Translation and Corpora
    - Corpus-based Information Retrieval and Information Extraction Methods</font></pre><pre style="white-space:pre-wrap"><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A special theme of this year’s <span class="" style="background:rgb(255,255,204)">PALC</span> edition will be the applications of corpora and corpus linguistics methods in social sciences and humanities. Special thematic sessions are planned on the following topics:

    - Corpora in Social Sciences and Humanities
    - Corpus Approaches to Evaluative Language
    - Diachronic Corpus Studies
    - Uncovering Time in Language
