<p>We are seeking to enhance and expand our internationally
leading, multi-disciplinary research portfolio in the
Department of Computer Science with the appointment of an
outstanding individual at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level.
This is a strategic appointment aimed at linking our Natural
Language Processing and Machine Learning research groups. </p>
<p>You will have a track record of high-quality research at
the interface between machine learning and natural language
processing/computational linguistics. Areas of particular
interest include machine translation and text mining from
large datasets. </p>
<p>You will hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related area.
As well as conducting high quality research, you will also
play a key role in maintaining our reputation for high
quality teaching by designing, delivering and assessing
undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in Computer
Science. </p>
