Dear friends,

For those in the Northern Hemishere: Welcome back to school....

Beginning with some practical bibliographical updating for ourselves or
our libraries:

Downloading booktitles from the Library of Congress (with the expensive
but very useful program BookWhere) for my arduous work on my new book
on context (which will take ages to finish), I also checked for new
books on discourse analysis.

Together with what I already had in my Big Bibliography this is the
result, which I might as well share with you if you want to check which
new books, also in critical discourse analysis, have come out
this year and last year.

Please especially check the book edited by L. Coulter (Ed.) (2002),
which came as a suprise to me... until it dawned on me that -- as usual
in our searches -- we also find "textile" if we search with wild-card
expressions such as "text*" as my program does when it searches for
references on discourse (and synonyms).

Un abrazo (from suddenly VERY much cooler and today even rainy
Barcelona)

Teun
