y a trente ans paraissait le premier numéro, daté d’octobre1980, d’une revue
dotée d’un titre se présentant sous la forme d’un acronyme, dont le
développement déclinait son champ d’investigation: <i>Mots, Ordinateurs,
Textes, Sociétés</i>. Officiellement démotivé en 1989, le nom de la publication
cessa sa vie de sigle, mais se vit adjoindre un sous-titre, considéré
aujourd’hui comme partie intégrante de l’identité de la revue: <i>Les langages
du politique</i>. À l’occasion de ce trentième anniversaire, la livraison de
l’automne2010 est un numéro spécial, consacré à un bilan de trente ans d’étude
des langages du politique non seulement dans la revue éponyme de cet objet,
même si elle a, logiquement, fortement contribué à son traitement, mais dans
différents ouvrages et revues, venant de chercheurs français et étrangers
appartenant à diverses disciplines et institutions et se référant à diverses
problématiques et méthodologies. Sans aucunement prétendre à l’exhaustivité l’objet
étant d’autant plus vaste que les deux notions de <i>langage</i> et de <i>politique</i>
sont particulièrement extensives, ce numéro spécial peut être considéré comme
un ouvrage de référence tant du côté des sciences du politique que de celui des
sciences du langage ou de la communication. Trentenaire oblige: une trentaine
d’auteurs ont été sollicités pour contribuer à ce travail de synthèse.<br>
