I'm glad that Amy Waller, who knows far more about AAC than I do, provided
this list with more background on Facilitated Communication.  Bilu and
Goodman indeed mention the controversy and lawsuits surrounding FC.  The
reason I think their work is so relevant to this list is that it points up
the inescapable embeddedness of communication in metacommunication and,
therefore, power.
