mobile/ cell phones

Hello everyone,
Mobile phones are invading our space in great numbers -- did anyone
publish studies of this phenomenon? What does it mean in terms of
establishing private/public sphere? modes of speaking? norms and
politeness?
I know of people doing research and collecting data, but I wonder if
something has been published as yet.
