Definition of terms

Hello and Happy New Year to You All,
I
'm currently working on a research project that requires me to
analyze in order to describe the interactions among participants of
several academic electronic bulletin boards/discussion groups. I'm
not sure how to proceed as I'm having trouble in differentiating
between the following terms: discourse analysis, sociolinguistic
analysis, and content analysis. Can anyone help?
