textbooks and curricula

[Ron Kuzar]

A student of mine wants to write a thesis on the ideological
underpinnings of the textbooks and the curriculum of learning English
used in the school system of the Israeli Arab sector. The two systems
(Jewish and Arab) have two different English programs. She herself is a
teacher in that sector.
While Language and ideology has been central in my own work, I have
never done any work on textbooks and curricula.
Any leads in this direction will be highly appreciated.
