hello! I have just joined the list--my name is Susan Burt, and I teach in the English Department at Illinois State University (PhD in Linguistics from University of Illinois). I'm currently working on a project which analyzes for evidence of monolingualist language ideology student papers written in response to a prompt to do language planning in an imaginary community.
