<P>I was quite surprised this morning to receive so many e-mails
in response to my Introduction. My choice of postcolonial novels
is important because 1. I haven't traced any previous research
conducted on this intersection between CDA and pocol writing. 2.
I believe pocol writing to be necessarily highly political,
subverting ideologies etc, and as such providing rich data for
CDA. 3. I love literature. But I can also reassure u that it is
a rather difficult project, especially because I have no
previous work that I can sort of rely on in deciding on whether
I'm on the right track or not. CDA is far more concerned with
media, gender etc. I guess ur data falls into such categories?
