Dear Juan, Rabi, and other members of the DISCOURS list,

My sincere and shameful apologies for having sent a message -- which
was intended as a personal reply to a message which I thought was
addressed to me personally -- to the whole list.

There is no excuse other than that I did not see that his message was
addressed to the list, and not to me personally. Of course Rabi did not
need to address me personally for that, nor identify himself when
sending a message to the list as a reaction to an earlier message of
myself (on discourse semantics).

Since I do get many messages like this (in which someone does not
address me by my name and do not tell me who they are), I - mistakenly-
recalled a rule of netiquette. Apart from that I always reply to all
mail addressed to me, as a matter of courtesy.

I am afraid that this kind of mistake does happen with lists like this
one -- of which replies to messages are automatically sent to the whole
list instead of only to the sender of a message.

Best wishes

Teun
