syncretism w/o paradigms

This is from an outsider who simply reads all the messages on the list
but doesn't really get half of them. (I'm neither a morphologist nor
working particularly close within DM, but hope that one day the workload
goes down and I get my head around it.) If anyone is interested (if this
is at all relevant),  Artemis Alexiadou and Gereon Müller have an
intriguing paper on "Class Features as Probes" on their respective
homepages (nominal "paradigms" in Greek, German and Russian), and Gereon
has a couple of papers on a DM approach to nominal inflections in
