Researchers in CALL and CALL-related disciplines are invited to submit
abstracts for papers on approaches to data interpretation in CALL research.
Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to the following:

-  Description of human-computer interaction through interpretation of video,
concurrent and retrospective verbal protocols, screen-capture data, and
tracking.
-  Approaches for operational assessment of individual differences relevant to
the use of CALL.
-  Frameworks for integrating multiple sources of data concerning the value of
CALL for L2 learning.
-  Measurement issues pertaining to assessment of language and other relevant
constructs in CALL research.

Abstracts (200 – 400 words) must be submitted electronically by September 08,
2004 to Volker Hegelheimer (volkerh at iastate.edu)

Hosted by the Program in Teaching English as a Second Language/Applied
Linguistics, Department of English, and the CALL Club, Iowa State University,
Ames, Iowa.
