Announcing Two New Internationally Refereed Journals from
Nova Science Publishers, Inc.

Aims and Scope:  Multidisciplinary and international in nature. Our aim is
to publish outstanding research on how languages and politics inform each
other. Both journals are interested in papers dealing with theory formation
as well as with analysis of political text and talk.

ISSUES IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS (IPDA)

This journal accepts papers that examine language through politics and
examine politics through language. Theories and methodologies within the
social sciences and humanities: anthropology, linguistics, political
science, speech communication, sociology, journalism, folklore, etc.
Attention is paid to detailed analyses of discourses that are of social and
political relevance. Issues on gender, race, ethnicity, power, and
socio-economic class are of paramount interest. Articles must be in English.
Data used may be in any language but must have an English glossary.

JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION (JIC)

JIC accepts papers that deal with language and discursive strateties in law,
politics and diplomacy across cultures and between states. Specific aspects
will be the war on words, the speakable or unspeakable (in diplomatic
circles), the language of peace treaties, of conflict, and of various groups
with political and diplomatic interests. The language of international law,
protest, defiance, the mass media, and diplomacy are all in scope.

Submission information: Electronic submission (in Word document) plus two
hard copies. Double spacing, times new roman 12 point. References APA style.
