Application Deadline: March 10th, 2005



Applications for the 2006 Faculty Development Fellowship Program are
currently being accepted from qualified citizens of Azerbaijan, Georgia,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The Program seeks to
enhance academic careers of outstanding full-time junior faculty
teaching art history, cultural anthropology, history, law, philosophy,
political science, religion, or sociology.  Awards will support for up
to three non-consecutive semesters at a US university, where the
grantees will create innovative approaches to reform in their fields of
specialization, and develop regional and international institutional
