The Second Linguapax Asia Symposium will address the position of  language
diversity and education. The Symposium will be held at the Canadian
Embassy in Tokyo and is the continuation of the first Linguapax Asia
Symposium that dealt with language diversity and language ecology.

Following UNESCO's mandate, Linguapax Asia's aim is to protect and
encourage awareness of each individual’s linguistic heritage, observe the
evolution of languages worldwide, and promote the safekeeping of
endangered languages in the search for peace and human rights.
