Escola Cidade Jardim / Play Pen is very pleased to host the first ever
coming together of professionals in Brazilian Bilingual Education in
October; by sharing and learning from one another we will better inform our
own professional practices.

Our intention is to have a variety of international and national key note
speakers, workshops presented by professionals working in the field,
including classroom teachers, publisher’s presenting new materials as well
as moments in the schedule for teachers to share and learn from one
another’s practises. This will be the first opportunity for us to explore
the real benefits of bilingual education in Brazil today.

As this is a bilingual event there will be presentations, workshops and
talks in both English and Portuguese aimed at all sectors of bilingual
education: Preschools, Elementary and Middle schools. In addition there
will be a balance between presentations targeted at teachers working in the
Brazilian curriculum and teachers teaching subjects in English.
