 Description:

 The Language Research Group in the Department of Psychology of the
 University of Quebec at Montreal is looking for a Post-doctoral researcher
 with academic training in one or more of the following areas: language
 acquisition, psycholinguistics, linguistics.  Candidates who are interested
 in infants' and young children's language development are particularly
 encouraged to apply. The position will involve primarily experimental work
 on infants' early development and processing of syntax and lexicon, as well
 as some adult research on language processing. The position is funded by
 the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Evaluation
 of applications will begin immediately. The exact starting date is
 negotiable (between spring 2005 and Oct 1, 2005).

 The Ph.D. degree must be in hand before the starting date of the
 post-doctoral position.
