Dear Colleagues,

The English Language Fellow (ELF) Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department
of State, is currently recruiting for a number of short-term positions in
various countries (see attached announcements).  Statements of interest or
CVs MUST be emailed to Rob Hardin, rob.hardin at sit.edu, no later than
September 30th.  Most of these positions will be for six months, running
from January to June 2006, but some will be of shorter duration as well.  At
the moment a number of positions are being vetted everywhere from Central
America to Asia to the Middle East and we are planning on having a confirmed
list of locations soon.  In particular, candidates with a background in ESP
journalism (or related field) to help foster overseas journalists'
linguistic and media analysis skills are being sought.

Please post these announcements and share with colleagues who may be
interested.
