[EDLING:1824] textbook edition comparison

I am teaching a Structure of English course and our primary textbook is 
Celce-Murcia & Larsen-Freeman (1999), /The Grammar Book /(2nd ed.).  One 
of my students has the 1st edition of the text from a course she took 
earlier in her career and was wondering if there were substantial 
differences between the two texts.  Does anyone know how different the 
2nd ed. is from the 1st?
