Sarah Liszka (University of London Institute in Paris) 'Investigating the
interaction of L2 grammars and pragmatic processes'

Rosamond Mitchell (Southampton) 'The language of play as evidence in SLA
research'

Florence Myles (Newcastle) 'The status of formulaic knowledge in early L2
grammars'

Richard Towell (Salford) 'What we can learn about sources of SLA knowledge
from individual case studies?'


This workshop is being held to celebrate the launch of the Centre for
Research in Linguistics at the University of Salford and to mark Professor
Towell's particular contribution to linguistics research at the University.

The workshop, which will conclude with a round-table discussion, will be
followed by a formal opening ceremony and wine party.


ANYONE INTERESTED IN SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION IS WELCOME TO ATTEND (there
will be no registration charge).
