The Third Pacific Association for CALL Conference (PacCALL) will be held at 
Nanjing University in cooperation with Southeast University, Nanjing, China, 
16-19 November 2006.

The theme for this year's conference is: "Globlization and Localization of 
CALL" 

Confirmed keynote speakers: 

Michael Coghlan, eLearning Consultant, TAFE SA, Adelaide, Australia 

Cynthia White, Massey University, New Zealand 

Prof. ZHAO Wen, Head of the Language and Multimedia Centre, School of Foreign 
Studies, Northeast University 

Dr. GU Yueguo, from Beijing Foreign Studies University 

Proposals for Papers (35 minutes); Demonstrations (35 minutes); Symposia (120 
minutes) and Posters sessions are now invited via the PacCALL website, 
http://www.paccall.org/2006/proposal-e.php. 

The deadline for receipt of proposals is 31 July 2006. 

Successful applicants will be notified by August 20th, 2006, although those 
who require an earlier decision for funding purposes may request so in the 
comments area of the proposal web form.
