I have received a number of comments lately from folks suggesting we have more 
discussions on the list, particularly about research queries and sticking 
points in educational linguistics.

Everyone is welcome to post questions and comments for discussion on the list 
by sending an e-mail to edling at ccat.sas.upenn.edu and anyone is welcome to 
respond by replying to the list.  The list membership represents a wealth of 
experience in a diverse range of areas.  See the results of last year's poll
