Calling Grammar mavens!
I am looking for an instructor for a graduate course at Immaculata University
for Fall 2006, one night/ week 2 /2 hours, usually 7:20-10:00 p.m. but time can
be negotiated for an earlier time if all agree.

The course participants are primarily ESL teachers who are either doing a
Master's in TESOL or the State ESL Program Specialist Certification. Do no
assume a background in linguistics, though some may have it.

CLD 548 Structure of English (3)
A study of the rules and principles governing the structure of modern English,
and of the relationship between knowledge of English syntactic structure and
second language learning and teaching.

Must have a Master's in a relevant area and ESL teaching experience. Should also
at least be in a doctoral program in educational linguistics or related and
relevant area.

As Immaculata is located in the distant suburbs of Philadelphia (between Paoli
and Exton), off Rte. 202 South, a car is a necessity.

Please email me at mvannaerssen at immaculata.edu
