Block Play Jump-Starts Children's Language Acquisition

MONTREAL, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Findings from an independent pilot clinical
research study released today by the University of Washington indicate that
children who engage in block play benefit from improved language acquisition.
The study, commissioned in September 2005 by MEGA Brands, validates a growing
body of research that supports the benefits of block play for a child's
development.
