Making a Difference: Challenges for Applied Linguistics

Call for Papers 

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is Monday 5th February 2007. 

Proposals are invited on the present and future impact of research in Applied 
Linguistics on the debate and work in a broad range of areas such as 
education, assessment, social and cultural issues.

Proposals should fall broadly within the conference theme and presentations 
may be in one of the following modes: 

30 minute individual papers for parallel sessions 
half-day colloquia on proposed topics 
workshops 
posters 

Individual papers have 20 minutes for presentations and ten minutes for 
questions. Colloquia papers will be given one half day and will be programmed 
in parallel slots with the individual papers. A colloquium should have a 
minimum of four papers.
