Europe inches towards multilingualism targets

The foreign language skills of pupils in the European Union would be tested 
during an upcoming survey for which the European Commission presented a 
European Survey on the foreign language skills of pupils in the EU Member 
States. The survey would test pupils’ skills in their first and second foreign 
languages learned.
