The Department of Anthropology at Temple University seeks 
individuals with a background in linguistic anthropology to 
teach part-time during the Fall 2007 semester.  Two courses 
are available: (1) "Fundamentals of Linguistic Anthropology", 
which is an upper-division introductory course that normally 
enrolls non-anthropology majors from throughout the 
university; and (2) “Urban Dialects”, an upper-division 
topical course that enrolls anthropology majors.  
The “Fundamentals of Linguistic Anthropology” course meets 
Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 8:40 AM to 9:30 AM.   The “Urban 
Dialects” course meets Tuesday-Thursday from 10:10 AM to 
11:30 AM.  Compensation is negotiable.  Please email Charles
