Meeting Description:

The sixth meeting of the UK Language Variation and Change conference, to 
be held in Lancaster in September 2007, welcomes submission of abstracts 
on any aspect of language variation and change.

April McMahon (University of Edinburgh)
Lesley Milroy (University of Michigan)
Emma Moore (University of Sheffield)

Abstract information
Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words (including references) and 
must
be submitted in one of the following electronic formats; word document 
(.rtf
or .doc), pdf, or in the body of an email message. They should be sent to
uklvc6lancaster.ac.uk on or before 1 March 2007. Oral presentations will be
expected to last 20 minutes with 10 minutes for questions.

Abstracts should be anonymous. They should include only the abstract text
and the title of the paper.

In the body of the accompanying email, the following information must be
included:
- Preferred presentation type (oral or poster)
- Author(s) name and title
- Author(s) affiliation
- Contact details for author(s)
- Title of paper/poster

You will be notified by the end of April whether or not your abstract has
been accepted. We encourage submission of abstracts for poster 
presentations.
