Convergys funds program to improve English teaching in public schools

Convergys Corp., a global leader in providing customer care, human resources, 
and billing services, has donated professional expertise and financial 
resources to the Philippines’ Department of Education (DepEd) to further the 
Oral Communications in English Program first developed by Convergys and DepEd 
in 2005. 

The Oral Communications in English Program is an intensive 2-day training 
program designed to provide public school teachers with the training they need 
to teach children proficiency in the English language.
