10th Annual DigitalStream 2008 Conference, March 17-19, 2008 
 
California State University Monterey Bay is proud to announce the 10th Annual DigitalStream Conference. For 10 years, the DigitalStream Conference has attracted more than 300 attendees from California, across the country and overseas to share their interest in the study of foreign languages and the best uses of technology in the language classroom. 

The conference provides a unique forum of scheduled presentations, panel discussions, hands-on workshops and technology exhibitions where language teachers, technologists, administrators and vendors can share useful and cutting-edge information and learn from one another.

Call for Proposals to Open Shortly 
Appropriate presentation areas include:

*	Technology Integration in the Language Classroom 
*	Teaching Strategies and Activities for Using Technology in the Language Class 
*	The Use of Technology in Language Proficiency Assessment 
*	Language Learning Lab Management and Issues 
*	Distance & Online Language Learning 
*	Technology Applications for Teaching At Risk Languages 
*	Creating Effective Virtual Language Learning Environments and Issues 
*	Demonstrations of the Use of Technology in Teaching Language and Cultures 
*	Research in Language Learning and Technology 
*	Workshops related to above topics 

Proposal Guidelines:

*	Proposals should include presentation abstract and presenter biographical information 
*	Proposals are limited to a 150-word abstract 
*	Proposal priority review date is December 15, 2006 
*	Multiple presenter proposals are also appropriate. Please see proposal site (linked below) for information on submitting for multiple presenters 

All language teachers (K-12 plus higher education) are encouraged to submit proposals.
