THE THIRD CLS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

CLaSIC 2008

Conference Theme:  
Media in Foreign Language Teaching and Learning

4 - 7 December 2008 in Singapore

 

CLaSIC is a biennial conference, organized by the Centre for Language Studies <http://www.fas.nus.edu.sg/cls/>  (CLS) of the National University of Singapore (NUS), aims to bring together academics, researchers and professionals from Asia and beyond for a productive and rewarding exchange of insights, experiences, views and perspectives on current and future developments in foreign language teaching and learning. The conference serves a platform for participants to report on current research and practices in foreign language education and related disciplines. It will also provide an avenue for the discussion and critical examination of new and innovative concepts and approaches expected to have an impact on future practices. 

 

 

CALL FOR PAPERS 

The conference organising committee invites submissions for papers and poster presentations on the sub-themes stated above.

Submission on other sub-themes may also be considered. 

Presentation proposals can be submitted online by 31 May 2008. Alternatively, you can download MS Word formatted proposal submission form on the page "Proposal Submission" and send in the completed form to CLaSIC 2008 Organising Committee at clasic2008 at nus.edu.sg. 

The language medium for all presentations at the conference is English.

Submission on other sub-themes may also be considered. The language medium for all presentations at the conference is English.

 

Presentation proposal can be submitted perferably online or by completing the formatted proposal submission form and email it to clasic2008 at nus.edu.sg by 31 May 2008.
