English as a foreign language

 

The situation of the teaching of English as a foreign language industry in Malta, which has had a lean summer, was discussed some time ago by education minister Dolores Cristina and heads of the schools, the Department of Information said yesterday.

"The purpose of this meeting was to achieve an informed opinion on the state-of-play of the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) industry in Malta and to support an agreed roadmap for further action," it said.
