Research to make schools better

 

With research on everything from teaching English language learners to evaluating teacher effectiveness, the fruits of Durham Public Schools' partnership with Duke's Center for Child and Family Policy were on display Monday.

After taking in Duke undergraduates' presentations, DPS Superintendent Eric Becoats said he likes what he sees -- and he wants more.
