I can not describe how sad I am. Dr. Pica was a great scholar, a great
teacher and a great friend. I didn't only learn lots of things from
her I also always felt her support. She kept encouraging me when I
returned my home country. I feel myself so lucky that I met her at
UPenn and took her classes. However, I felt myself so bad that I did
not about her last months and couldn't say my appreciation and my deep
regards to her.

I was also planning to send a card to her both to celebrate the
Christmas and let her know that I finished my Ph.D. I will never and
never forget her advices for my academical career. Thank you Dr. Pica!

I am also sorry for UPenn family for their great loss.

May she rest in peace,
