Job Title: Refugee and Immigrant Integration Intern

Program: Refugee and Immigrant Integration

Hours per week: 20

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Position Available: January 2, 2012 through April 2012

The Center for Applied Linguistics supports refugee and immigrant orientation and integration through the development of programs, resources, and materials for newcomers, their service providers, and other members of their receiving communities.

The Refugee and Immigrant Integration program area at CAL seeks a self-motivated graduate student to work 20 hours a week as a paid intern for the 2012 spring semester.

Description of Duties:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to development of curricular materials and resources, video transcription, compiling survey results regarding refugee orientation delivery practices, research and writing, and various administrative duties.  

Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office is required, and web publishing software, such as Dreamweaver, is highly desirable.
