Liebe Ingrid,

 

ich würde gerne zu dieser Tagung der NABE (National Association for
Bilingual Education) gehen, um dort die bilingualen Schulen vorzustellen
aber Amerika ist wirklich ganz teuer (Dallas – wer möchte eigentlich nach
Dallas?). Gäbe es irgendeiner Möglichkeit Finanzierung zu bekommen?

*The 41th Annual International Bilingual Education Conference of the

National Association for Bilingual Education will be held on February 15-17,
2012, in Dallas, Texas at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.


In addition to nationally and internationally recognized keynote and
featured speakers (including Jim Cummins,Steve Krashen,  Jim Crawford, Lily
Wong Fillmore & Josie Tinajero) NABE is soliciting presentations from the
field for concurrent sessions.

 

**NABE wishes to reach out to the many bilingual communities in the US and
beyond.  NABE especially invites papers on: Chinese, Korean, Japanese,
Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Hebrew, Arabic, French, Portuguese,
English, French and other Creoles, Native-Hawaiian, Hawaiian Pidgin, Native
Alaskan languages, Filipino (Tagalog), Yiddish, Ladino, Welsh along with
other indigenous and endangered languages.***

 Due to the disruption caused by the recent hurricane, we have extended the
deadline to submit presentation proposals for the NABE 2012 conference to
September 15, 2011.
