Gaelic school cannot find head that speaks the language



Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis – Inverness Gaelic primary school – in the Highlands of Scotland has failed seven times in the last three years to recruit a Gaelic speaker for the £48,000-a-year post.



Annika Jansson, a Swedish teacher who has been learning the language, has covered in an acting role but is now leaving and her only potential replacement is also a non-Gaelic speaker.
