Teachers warn of looming crisis over English as a Second Language courses in NSW schools



Teachers and education experts in New South Wales have warned of a looming crisis, with English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers struggling in the face of a rising demand for the courses.



The NSW Government has pledged to support 145,000 ESL students, also known as English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) students in 1,250 primary and secondary public schools this year.
