Those of us in the fields of educational linguistics, language policy, applied linguistics, sociolinguistics and TESOL will be sorry to learn of the death of Christina Bratt Paulston who contributed so much to our feilds. We are fortunate to be left with her many writings, but miss her personal warmth.
