Intercultural Competence and Mobility: Virtual and Physical
The 6th International Conference on Development and Assessment of Intercultural Competence (ICC)

January 25-28 in Tucson, AZ, and online

Regular registration rates end on January 15

Keynote: Robert O’Dowd (University of León), plenaries: Alvino Fantini (SIT Graduate Institute) and Chin-Sook Pak (Ball State University) and select paper presentations on January 26 and 27 will be livestreamed. The conference schedule<http://icc.arizona.edu> highlights those available to remote attendees. Presentation summaries and further details are on other pages of the conference website<http://icc.arizona.edu>.

Pre- and post-conference Professional Development Workshops<http://icc.arizona.edu/workshops/> on assessment, telecollaboration, developing ICC, the use of film, video and global literature in the classroom, and more. Attendees can elect to enroll in the workshops only, and do not have to register for the conference as well; continuined education certificates are available for these days--6 hours on the 25th and three on the 28th.

  *   Intercultural Competence Development through Video and Film - Peter Ecke (University of Arizona)
  *   Assessing Intercultural Competence: Using Formative Data to Impact Summative Outcomes - Chris Cartwright (Intercultural Communication Institute)
  *   Film (Clips) in the Language Curriculum: Towards a Development of the “Multilingual Subject” - Mark Kaiser (University of California, Berkeley)

Workshops on Sunday January 28
