Hi Bedrettin, greetings from Taipei, Taiwan. I wonder if you could answer a question--just personal curiosity. When I was getting my MA in Education at UTSA (2003--I studied Curriculum & Instruction and had the equivalent of a minor in Spanish--if such a thing had existed at the MA level--in electives), I had friends in your program (Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies).
For some odd reason, whenever I'd ask them about their major, they always said "BBL," although there's no "L" in "BBS." I'd ask them what BBL stood for and what the L was and they never had an answer.
If you know--where did they get BBL from and what's the L?
