Announcing the Opening of TIRF’s 2022 DDG Competition

We are pleased to announce the opening of the 2022 TIRF Doctoral
Dissertation Grants (DDG) competition. The commencement of the current DDG
program offering marks the 21st consecutive year the Foundation will make
awards to doctoral students around the world.

Once again, there are two types of DDGs being offered by TIRF in 2021. The
first is our long-standing TIRF-Cambridge DDG, which is supported by
Cambridge Assessment English. The other type is the TIRF-British Council
DDG, which is supported by the British Council and is aimed at promoting
research to better meet the needs of language education in under-resourced
nations.
