[Edling] Remote University teacher

You're not the only one, Dr. Amel.
After I received my MATESL in the U.S., I searched for eight years for a
Ph.D. program that would accept me and my research.  Nobody even answered
any letters.

Unfortunately, this is the way of the world.

I would stay as local as possible if I were you.  Do your work because you
are passionate about it.
