*Director of Field Experiences and Clinical Practice *

The Director of Field Experiences and Clinical Practice is responsible for
developing, implementing and assessing field experiences, specifically
internships for UMBC teacher education candidates. The Director works with
school district partners as well as UMBC faculty and staff to ensure
candidates gain valuable hands-on experience in their area of
certification, and align with MSDE and COMAR requirements on remote, office
and field-based experiences.

Salary starts at $91,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

*Required Minimum Qualifications:*

   - Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational
   Leadership or a related field
   - Three years of experience in classroom teaching and educational
   administration
   - Five years of supervisory experience


*Preferred Qualifications: *

   - PhD in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership
   or a related field
   - Experience developing, managing and evaluating field experience
   programs and developing standard operating procedures
   - Knowledge of current legislation, policy, initiatives, trends and best
   practices in the field of teacher education and professional development at
   the state, district and institutional level
